The American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor course trains candidates to teach basic-level lifeguarding, CPR/AED for the professional rescuer and Basic Water Rescue courses. Students must be 17 years of age on or before the last scheduled day of the class, possess a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certificate and complete the following prerequisites: demonstrate competency in the pre-course skills and scenarios. Registration deadline is January 9. Ages 17 and older.
