About this Course

The Junior Lifeguard Camp is designed to guide youth by building a foundation of knowledge, attitudes and skills for future lifeguards while providing leadership opportunities. Participants must demonstrate proficiency in the following skills the first day of class: 1) front crawl for 25 yards, 2) breaststroke for 25 yards, 3) tread water for 1 minute, 4) back float for 30 seconds and 5) submerge and swim underwater for 10 yards. Ages 12-14.
